(in·ter·ro·bang also in·ter·a·bang) n

1. a punctuation mark in the form of a question mark superimposed on an exclamation point, used to end a simultaneous question and exclamation.

2. a punctuation mark {!?} for use at the end of an exclamatory rhetorical question .

3. a sentence ending with an interrobang either asks a question in an excited manner or expresses excitement or disbelief in the form of a question. eg. How much did you spend on those shoes!?
